Hobo ibn Bargq arrived in Dereth, and did not stay long. He was a specialist in axe and war magic. He was sworn to Malbrosia, a member of The Pyreal Tower. This fact bothered him, as The Pyreal Tower was very, very large, and he did not want to be a number. So, when Hobo al-Bargq arrived in Dereth at the East Yaraq Outpost, he found a well-known patron of adventurers know as Rand Althor. When asking Rand for his patronage, Rand asked, "Why yuo noy kerp with your old patronnb/" I replied, "I don't want to be a number in The Pyreal Tower." I swore to Rand. As I identified him, I noticed that Rand too was a member of The Pyreal Tower! how comedic! Hobo spent many weeks hunting with friends Maehdras, Calidran, and Rand. We would hunt the famed south pass of Yaraq, run all the way to Tufa for tapers, and even to Samsur for clan evente with The Pyreal Tower. Hobo also gained some vassals, chief among them Wal, Sam'n, and Amed.

Later, we separated somewhat. Rand and Maeh went to Kara, to hunt a very reclusive tower near the river, Calidran and I moved our base of operations to Zaikhal and Cragstone. We would hunt Ashen Tears, killing plenty of liches and banderlings. It was a great time. We would sell our lootin Cragstone, because nifty people like Thorin the Bear would be there.

After a brief hiatus from hunting, Hobo began to hunt with hisformer vassal Amed, now known as Barbarian. He sent me to a large citadel filled with gigantic Lugians. My skills were honed in the dark halls of this citadel near the town of Kara. Hobo then moved to a mine with more powerful lugians. I was based in Glendon Wood. It ranks among my favorite places in Dereth to visit. from Glendon Wood, Sam'n and I would traverse to the Glendon Wood Prison, and conquer the mites and banderlings there. It was a grand adventure. Sadly, one day Sam'n seemed to disappear, without notice. He was missed.

My old friend Maehdras clued me to a new town in the far Direlands known as Ayan Baqur. I moved to Ayan, and began to collect quite a fortune, as the merchants in Ayan could pruchase items at a very high rate, as they sold them at even a higher rate. I met quite a few new people in Ayan, including Menk Chui, Ulath Pyreal, and through Ulath, Abinitio. I learned that the three of them had lost contact with their patron, Pyreal Sword, in the same manner I had lost my vassal Sam'n. Soon enough, the lines of Abinito and Ulath Pyreal joined those of Hobo al-Bargq.

We began to do some more challenging quests around this time. I remember one trip to Mt. Lethe where we were greatly outmanned, and my new vassal, Ulath, lost some items and became very upset with me. I am not sure he has ever let me live it down. I also think it was around this time that I gained an Atlan axe and all my atlan stones. There was an especially memorable trip to the Incunabula Vault. Our ranks included Rand, Pyreal Stoner, Maehdras, Leprechaun (another vassal of Rand's, who was quite unpopular among his co-vassals), Chas, Ryu Sion, & myself. The stone seemed to appear every 15 minutes. When nearly all the members of the fellowship of the acid stone had retrieved a stone, the ranks of Sprocket, who had left The Pyreal Tower after being killed by the player killers Ragnoth and The Lost Pyreal during a clan meeting, barged in and stole a stone. In the end, we were all waiting to grab the stone. We earned the last one we required. We had all recall to our respective lifestones, when Chas announced, "Waveruler's death is proceded by sharp, stabbing pain, courtesy of Olthoi Soldier!" and, then "Trithon's death is proceded by sharp, stabbing pain, courtesy of Olthoi Soldier!" I was glad that Chas was able to exact some...karma that night.

My trip to the Incunabula led me to begin hunting there myself. I found Olthoi to be a great way to hone my skills in evasion and axe. My  near inherent ability as a leader seemed to further augment his skills as well. In fact, many times I would take a hiatus from hunting, only to discover my skills had still grown. Once I became an axer of the 65th circle, I discovered that i would need very special items to overcome my ineptitude at life magic. Suprisingly, an item dropped by a new diamond lord heralded an new era in my development. My skill at item enchantment and creature enchantment allowed me much liberty in wearing items which provided me protection from the war magic which had long kept me hunting olthoi.

After a longer hiatus, and clan moves from The Pyreal Tower to Hell-Spawn, many of my followers moved to a fort near Zaikhal, once inhabited many years before by Maehdras, Calidran, and myself. It was christened with a tongue-in-cheek name, Ph0r+ Ph4+. I continue to hunt the area near Fort Tethana and inhabit the fort with some of my followers.
